UT: Tennessee economy won’t improve until 2013

Despite some gains in the short term, a new study from the University of Tennessee suggests there won’t be significant improvements to the state’s economy until 2013.

The fall 2011 Tennessee Business and Economic Outlook report, issued by UT’s Center for Business and Economic Research, says the state’s housing market will continue to struggle and that the economy risks being further hampered by the financial crisis in Europe.
