Forbes: Memphis among best cities for weekend vacations
Forbes has named Memphis among its 10 best U.S. cities for a weekend vacation.
The Forbes article details cities that can be sufficiently visited in a long weekend. Needless to say, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles weren’t among the cities listed but it’s still nice to see the publication finally give Memphis some positive recognition.
The article references Graceland as Memphis’ biggest draw but also points to Beale Street, barbecue restaurants and the National Civil Rights Museum as good options for tourists…
